Cucumber Mint Scrubber

Festivals are around the corner. Time to look at our best. A quick beauty routine is something worth looking forward to, especially, after a hard day in the office. Getting a spa from a professional saloon is quite expensive as well as time-consuming. So a homemade solution or a DIY, in this case, can be a good alternative.

An essential part of any skincare routine is scrubbing the skin, to take out the dirt and dead skins. This simple task helps our skin to get clean and more importantly, to breathe properly.

But our skin as we all know is a very delicate part of our body. The chemicals from our daily used soaps can take out the essential oils from the surface of our skin, making it look dry and irritating at the same time. So a mild scrubber is very necessary for the skin. Thankfully, nature gives quite a few ingredients, easily available on our kitchen counter, that works wonder for our skin. And two such ingredients are cucumber and mint.

Cucumbers are loading with water and one of the key requirements of skin is hydration. Cucumber provides the much-needed base for hydration. It also helps to soothe irritation caused by the sugar particles in the scrubber.

The second on the list is Mint. Mint helps to brighten up the completion and has an extremely refreshing and soothing effect on our skin. It also helps to get rid of blackheads.

So let’s mix these two ingredients, with some others, to make a soothing and refreshing and effecting home made scrubber-Cucumber Mint Scrubber.

Ingredients:

1.Grated Cucumber

2.Essential oil (peppermint essential oil)

3.Sugar

4.Coconut oil

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and put it in the freezer for using it for 2-3 days.
