How to increase your Productivity?

As a human, we always wanted to become more Productive in order to achieve something or to get the rewards we normally deserve. But to be constantly Productive, sometimes make us totally exhaust our battery. It is very difficult to give a constant performance and to be Productive all the time.

But there are ways we can make ourselves learn and practice which would in the long run increase our Productive and help us give a consistent performance. Today I am dedicating this blog post on how could we increase our Productivity. And I am here to give you some tips and tricks that will help you get going.

  • In order to be more productive, you need to prioritize the things that are important in your life. And for me “You” are the top priority in your life. So firstly, let’s talk about you. ‘You’ and ‘your well-being’ are the utmost and top-most priority in your Life. In order to increase your productivity, you need to look after yourself first. Maintain a healthy lifestyle and follow a good routine.
  • Wake up and follow a healthy morning routine. Meditate and do exercises or just go out for a walk. Breathe in the fresh air. Be mindful of your surroundings. These will give the positive vibes to get going the whole day.
  • Try to starts some good and useful habits like reading books or preparing a meal for yourself or your family. Spent some time with your family and friends. Have some ‘me’ time. In order to increase your productivity, you need to have a healthy body and mind. So do whatever you feel like to build a healthy lifestyle. You know yourself the best!
  • Prioritize the things you need to do, first thing in the morning. Write them down. There may be things that are urgent as well as very important. Keep them at first. Make a priority list each morning in order to go smoothly the whole day.
  • As it is said you are more Productive at the beginning of the day. We tend to feel sluggish as the day moves on. So do the first priority items on your list at first, when you are beginning your day’s works.
  • Make a to-do list which is possible to do in a day. Don’t overburden your to-do List that you feel repulsive to look at it. Make it simple and achievable.
  • If you are trying to targets bigger goals, cut them into sections, and add them to your daily task. This will reduce the burden of doing a mammoth task on one sitting and also motivate you to take the next steps if you accomplish your daily tasks.
  • Cut down your screen time that we lose everyday scrolling irreverently for hours on the social media platforms. This will save you precious time, which you could use in productive ways.
  • Don’t multitask rather do a single thing one at a time. It is a general belief that multitasking saves time and increases our Productivity at a manifold. Rather it does the very opposite. When we do our tasks one at a time, we are more focussed and do our job more accurately. This lessens the chances of errors and we could be more Productive in this way.
  • Take a break more often. It is very much needed in order to gain much-needed energy. Eat light snacks or go out for a small walk outside your office.
  • Lastly, go slow but steady. As we all know the old proverbs “Slow but steady wins the race”. Your consistency and dedication are all that matters and your Productivity will increase automatically.
